General

At Tot Cross Buns it is important to us that everyone is healthy, kept safe and enjoys our classes.

Please read our terms and conditions below before attending our classes or events.   If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us on 07799 658 999.

Covid 19:

In line with Government Guidelines, we ask you to adhere to the following in order to keep you, your child(ren) and everyone safe and healthy. Please:

  •  Only attend classes if you, your child and your family are 100% fit and well.
  • Arrive 10 minutes before the class start time, to wash and sterilise your hands.
  • All adults should wear a face mask into the building.
  • Carry your own hand sanitiser although Tot Cross Buns will have a supplementary supply.
  • Note that classes allow for the ratio of one child : one adult per family

Parents/Guardians are responsible for their own children’s behaviour.   Tot Cross Buns cannot accept responsibility for Injury, loss or damage caused by a child’s behaviour.

Please be aware, it is the responsibility of the children’s parents/guardians to accept the ingredients provided, ensuring their child is safe to cook and eat with the ingredients provided.

Illness

Parents are asked to keep their children at home if they have a serious infection and to inform Tot Cross Buns as to the nature of the infection so that other parents can be alerted if at all necessary.

Please can we ask that you keep your child at home if he / she:

  • Has a fever or has had one in the previous 48 hours
  • Has had an upset stomach or diarrhoea in the previous 48 hours
  • Has heavy nasal discharge
  • Has discharging eyes

Has symptoms of a possible communicable disease such as:

  •  Covid 19 (Corona Virus)
  •  Measles
  • Chicken pox
  • German measles
  • Whooping cough
  • Impetigo
  • Scarlett fever
  • Hand, foot and mouth disease
  • Norovirus

Holidays

At Tot Cross Buns we try and coincide the holidays with the local school holidays/half terms.

Refunds/Cancellations of classes

Tot Cross Buns will endeavour to run classes during bad weather e.g. treacherous snow conditions. However, should classes need to be cancelled you will be notified/contacted at our earliest convenience.  Tot Cross Buns has the right to cancel classes without refund in exceptional circumstances which are beyond our control (fire, flood, vehicle breakdown, serious illness, treacherous snow etc.).

In the event of a class cancellation, Tot Cross Buns will offer you an on line class via zoom.   We will bake from the safety of our own homes.

All places are non-refundable/ non-transferrable

Tot Cross Buns are under no obligation to refund or transfer your money in the event that you are unable to attend part of or the entire course. We regret that we are unable to offer an alternative for missed classes.

Confidentiality

Certain content and information provided throughout our classes are copy written and under ownership of Tot Cross Buns. Tot Cross Buns kindly asks customers not to copy, reproduce, create derivative works of, reverse engineer, alter, enhance or in any way exploit any of the Tot Cross Buns materials in any manner such as use of ideas in a public place, promotional event without permission from the copyright holders.

Data Protection

The information on registration form contains personal data. Tot Cross Buns will record, process and keep your personal information secure in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. Information will not be passed/sent out to a third party.

Photos

I give my permission for photos to be taken of my child and fully understand that these photos may be selected for use on Tot Cross Buns Website, Facebook Page or on Instagram.

Health and Safety

The health and safety of children and parents in our classes is of paramount importance. We adhere to strict health and safety guidelines and make sure that every aspect of care is delivered to the highest possible standard.

  • The premises and equipment are hygienic and comply with COVID-19 standards – following the requirements of the Health and Hygiene Policy.
  • A register of children, staff and other adults is taken at the start of each session.
